Brenda Froese

Manager, Partnership Implementation at Manitoba Hydro

Brenda Froese has extensive experience with Manitoba Hydro, holding various managerial positions since January 2008. Currently, as Manager of Partnership Implementation, Brenda collaborates with five First Nation communities to advance the Keeyask and Wuskwatim Partnerships, focusing on Indigenous traditional knowledge monitoring and adverse effects offsetting programs. Past roles include Manager of Agreements Management, where Brenda oversaw the implementation of agreements with Indigenous communities, including the Northern Flood Agreement, and Senior Negotiator, in which Brenda negotiated partnership agreements for future hydro-electric developments. Brenda's earlier experience includes the position of Senior Labour Relations Advisor from 2002 to 2006. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Arts in Labour Studies from the University of Manitoba.
