David Little has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and responsibilities. David has worked for Manitoba Hydro since 1986, starting as a Construction Inspector III before progressing to various supervisory and managerial positions. Some notable roles include being a Senior Project Coordinator overseeing the construction of a LEED Platinum Accredited office tower and a Project Lead for a Supply Chain Performance Enhancement Program. David has also held positions in fleet services, workplace safety and health, and site support management for the Keeyask Generating Station construction project. Prior to joining Manitoba Hydro, David worked as a Technologist for GE Ground Engineering Ltd. and as a Structures Inspector for Crippen Acres Saskatchewan.
David Little completed their education in a chronology, starting with a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from Saskatchewan Technical Institute in 1981-1983. David then pursued a Bachelor of Management degree at Athabasca University from 2000-2012. Later, they obtained a Master of Technology Management degree from Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2013-2015. In addition to their degrees, David also holds certifications such as IntET(Canada) from the Canadian Council of Technicians & Technologists, Sustainable Facility Professional from the International Facility Management Association, and Certified Engineering Technologist from the Certified Technicians and Technologists of Manitoba.
