David Terrazas

David Terrazas, PhD, PEng, CC, is a Cyber Security Engineer at Manitoba Hydro, focusing on the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of technology assets through the implementation and enforcement of security policies and programs. Prior to this role, David held various positions at the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, managing project data and software implementation, and served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Manitoba. David's extensive experience includes roles at Road Machinery LLC as Reliability Engineering Manager, where responsibilities included technical training and machinery assembly, and earlier positions at Fifth Wheel Foundry and Festo as a Methods Engineer and Technical Consultant, respectively. David holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Cybersecurity from the University of Manitoba, a Master of Science in Cryptography, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering.
