Elizabeth Wheeler

Elizabeth Wheeler, APR, serves as Engagement Manager for the Government of Manitoba since March 2024, following a decade-long tenure at the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba, where roles included Case Manager and Communications Officer. Previous experience encompasses Press Secretary for the Government of Manitoba's Cabinet Communications and Writer/Editor for the Canadian Grain Commission, focusing on diverse communication products. As Senior Communications Specialist at Great-West Life, responsibilities included creating marketing materials for group insurance products. Elizabeth also progressed through various roles at RBC, ultimately leading a team of customer service representatives, in addition to reporting for the Selkirk Journal and interning with the City of Winnipeg. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from The University of Winnipeg and a degree in Creative Communications from RRC Polytech.
