Jeff Smith

Jeff Smith has been the Vice Chair of Manitoulin Transport since August 1986, overseeing quality and environmental management systems while actively assisting customers. In addition to this role, Jeff has served as the Director for the Sudbury Food Bank since 2009, focusing on providing food to those in need in Greater Sudbury. Jeff was a Governor at Cambrian College from September 2018 to August 2024, previously holding the position of Chair. Other notable positions include a Board of Directors Member at MineConnect from December 2015 to February 2022, where responsibilities included chairing the Governance Committee, and Director-Treasurer Secretary at Sudbury Christian Academy from November 2012 to June 2016. As President of the Montessori School of Sudbury from 2008 to June 2012, Jeff took pride in contributing to the educational community. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Economics from Western University and a Certified Customs Specialist designation from the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers.
