Amy Nessman is an experienced educator currently working as a Special Education Cross Categorical Virtual teacher for the Manitowoc Public School District since September 2014, where responsibilities include case management and IEP development for a diverse range of students. Previous roles include Substitute Teacher, Long Term Substitute Teacher for Sarasota County Schools, and various positions in library services as a Librarian Assistant. Amy also has a background in curriculum development tailored for individuals with developmental disabilities and has served as a Victim Advocate for the Domestic Violence Center. Amy’s career began with teaching positions in special education, including a role at Campbellsport School District, and educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a focus on Cognitive Disabilities from Silver Lake College.
