Melanie Shimek

Melanie Shimek, MBA, is an experienced educator currently serving as a Business Education Teacher at Manitowoc Public School District since July 2018. Prior to this role, Melanie held administrative positions at Aurora Health Care from August 2009 to August 2017 and was a Store Manager at Starbucks from June 2005 to October 2008. Melanie Shimek's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and an MBA, both obtained from Western Governors University. Additionally, Melanie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services from Rasmussen University and completed a Paramedic program at Lakeshore College. The academic journey also includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree from University of Wisconsin Colleges.
