Guido Piquet, MBA, COE, serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Mann Eye Institute and Laser Center since September 2006, overseeing clinic operations and implementing cutting-edge technology in ophthalmology. Prior experience includes roles as Clinic Administrator, managing a team of approximately 30 staff members, and Director of Information Technology, where Guido initiated a unified WAN and phone system across multiple locations. In addition, since November 2022, Guido co-hosts a podcast with leading consultants in the ophthalmology field, providing insights to professionals worldwide. Earlier career experience includes a position as Systems and Applications Specialist II at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, providing IT support to the School of Public Health. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Houston, complemented by studies at Houston Community College.
