Mark Forbes

Mark Forbes has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Mark started their career in 2010 as a Praktikant im Ingenieurswesen at Salzgitter Mannesmann Line Pipe GmbH and later worked as a Praktikant im Ingenieurswesen at RAG Deutsche Steinkohle AG. In 2009, they completed their Grundwehrdienst in the Bundeswehr.

From 2014 to 2016, Mark worked as a Bachelorand and Masterand at Salzgitter Mannesmann Line Pipe GmbH. Mark then joined Winkelmann Powertrain Components as a Werkstudent from 2014 to 2016.

In 2016, Mark joined voestalpine Automotive Components Deutschland GmbH as a Trainee and later worked as a Teamleiter Qualität / Qualitätsverantwortlicher compacore at voestalpine Automotive Components Nagold GmbH.

In 2019, they took on the role of Senior Qualitymanager Global at Mannesmann Precision Tubes GmbH, where they were responsible for implementing a CAQ software, supporting SAP S4 Hana implementation, and maintaining and developing the global quality management system.

In 2022, Mark became the Head of Quality Management at Mannesmann Precision Tubes GmbH, where their responsibilities include planning and conducting internal audits, implementing a CAQ software, and selecting and auditing suppliers.

Throughout their career, Mark has gained extensive experience in quality management, auditing, supplier management, and implementing various quality management systems. Mark is skilled in using relevant QM methods and tools and has a track record of delivering results and maintaining high standards of quality.

Mark Forbes pursued their education in the field of engineering. Mark obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Dortmund, where they were enrolled from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, Mark completed their undergraduate studies at Fachhochschule Dortmund from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications in quality management and auditing. These include certifications such as IATF 16949 - 1st/2nd party Auditor from Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA) e.V. and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Qualität (DGQ), Qualitätsmanagementbeauftragter / Quality Management Representative from DGQ, Prozess-Auditor VDA 6.3 from DGQ, CQI-9 Auditor / CQI-15 Auditor from TopQM-Systems, and Interner Auditor DIN EN ISO 19011:2011 from DEKRA Akademie GmbH.
