Martijn Thieme has a strong background in technology and software development. Martijn currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Manometric, a position they have held since October 2020. Previously, Martijn worked at Quince for a significant portion of their career. At Quince, they held various roles including Chief Technology Officer from December 2011 to January 2020 and Development Director from January 2005 to December 2011. In these roles, they were responsible for leading software development teams, designing and developing major software platforms, and providing guidance to the development team. Martijn also served as the Interim Managing Director of Quince Hungary Kft. from May 2017 to July 2018. Prior to their time at Quince, Martijn co-founded Development Suite BV in 1999. During their tenure, they focused on in-house software development and software development contracting, primarily in the IT/CE/Telecom/Finance markets. Martijn began their career at Quince as a Lead Developer in September 1997, where they worked on various projects including porting a Delphi-based product to a Java-based web application and implementing the call-me-now button for WebTelecom.

Martijn Thieme began their education at Ichthus College from 1987 to 1993, where they pursued a VWO degree focusing on Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Following this, from 1993 to 1999, Martijn attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), where they obtained an MSc degree in Computer Science.
