Daniel Jenny

Daniel Jenny has extensive work experience in data management, analytics, and controlling roles. Daniel is currently working at Manor AG as the Head of Data Excellence and DPO, where they are responsible for implementing and developing the company's data strategy and governance. Daniel also oversees data operations and management reporting. Prior to this, Daniel worked at Jumbo Markt AG as the Head of Data & Analytics, leading a team of 12 employees and driving the establishment of the Data & Analytics department. Daniel was also responsible for ensuring data quality and developing reporting solutions. Daniel has also held various leadership roles at Jumbo Markt AG, including Head of Controlling and Analytics, where they were in charge of strategic and operational controlling, BI solutions, and financial monitoring. Before joining Jumbo Markt AG, Daniel worked as a Business Controller at Autogrill and held roles in controlling and category management at Coop. Daniel also has experience in academic research and technical assistant roles at ZHAW Life Sciences und Facility Management.

- From 1992 to 1995, they attended ZHAW School of Engineering and obtained a degree in Lebensmittelingenieur with a specialization in Lebensmitteltechnologie.

- In 2011 and 2013, they attended Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland for a Master of Advanced Studies in Controlling.

- In 2017, they obtained a Data Scientist Basic Level certification from Fraunhofer-Institut für Angewandte Informationstechnik FIT.
