Mario Barisic

Mario Barisic, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles within the printing and publishing industry. Mario worked as a Technical Director and Marketing Director at Skolska knjiga d.d. Zagreb Croatia from February 1995 to April 2005. Mario then served as the Technical Director at Tiskara VJESNIK from May 2005 to November 2011. Mario later became the Managing Director at Manroland Adriatic in December 2011. In addition to their industry positions, they have also been an Associate Professor at Osijek University, University Nord, and Zadar University since 2007. In this role, they teach subjects related to printing technologies, publishing management, and publishing production steps and organization. Their mission is to share their industrial experiences and knowledge with their students.

Mario Barisic, PhD completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Graphic Arts, from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a BSc in the field of Graphic Arts. Mario continued their education by pursuing a Postgraduate Scientific Master's Study of Marketing at the University of Zagreb from 1987 to 2000, receiving an MSc in the areas of Economy, Marketing, and Management. Finally, they attained a PhD degree in Design, Printing, Technology, and Multimedia from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Graphic Arts and Technology, between 2002 and 2004.
