Previously, Kody held positions such as Vice President, Legal at Sound United, Acting General Counsel, and Senior Corporate Counsel at Bourns, Inc. Kody's legal career includes significant roles at Kia Motors America as Corporate Counsel and at Toyota Material Handling USA as General Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed managing the national legal department and overseeing products liability counsel. Kody holds a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and completed additional education at Pepperdine Law School's Strauss Institute of Dispute Resolution.
