Onur Unal

Onur Unal has a wealth of experience in the life sciences and business sectors. Onur began their career in 2003 as a Research Assistant at PennState University. In 2008, they began working as a Product Manager at Nanotech Biotechnology A.S., as well as a Marketing Manager/Assistant General Manager at Bursa Eye Center and Business Development at LifeSensors Inc. In 2011, they became Manager of the BioMaryland Center at the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development. In 2014, they were Co-founder of Manta Biofuel and Manager of Life Sciences Projects at MIPS, University of Maryland.

Onur Unal began their education journey in 1992 when they graduated from Robert College with a High School Diploma in Science. Onur then attended the University of California, Davis from 1999 to 2003, earning a B.S. in Genetics. Following that, they attended Penn State University from 2004 to 2006, earning an M.B.A. in Business Administration. Finally, they attended Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine from 2003 to 2007, earning an M.S. in Pharmacology.
