Kelly A. Mann, DVM has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields such as veterinary medicine, research, and academia. Kelly A. worked for the US Army as a veterinarian and rose up to become the Director of Department of Defense Military Working Dog Veterinary Service, a position they held for over two decades. Kelly A. started Kelly Mann Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging, LLC in 2015 and was the owner till 2019. In 2014, they joined Colorado State University in various roles such as the Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Administrator, Nuclear Medicine Service Chief, and Alternate Member of the Radiation Safety Committee. From 2019, they served as the Interim Director of Office of Defense Engagement at the University. Currently, they work at Mantel Technologies as the Vice President of Research and had previously served as the Technical Director from 2017 to 2021.
Kelly A. Mann, DVM received their Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Georgia College & State University in 1986 before going on to attend The University of Georgia where they earned their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. Kelly A. later completed their Master's Degree in Veterinary Parasitology at The University of Georgia in 1993. Mann then pursued their interest in Radiation Health Physics, earning their Master's Degree from Colorado State University in 2000. Kelly A. subsequently obtained a Master's Degree in Military Strategic Studies, General from the U.S. Army War College in 2008. Mann continued to broaden their education by becoming a Postdoctoral student at Colorado State University from 2014 to 2020, working towards their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Advanced Imaging and Cancer Biology. Additionally, Mann received the certification of Diplomate, American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2003.
