Frederic Descamps

Frederic Descamps is the CEO and Co-Founder of Manticore Games. Prior to Manticore, they were the Vice President, Head of Corporate Development at Zynga from September 2012 to August 2016. Before Zynga, Frederic was the CEO of A Bit Lucky, Inc. from October 2009 to September 2012 when A Bit Lucky was acquired by Zynga.

At A Bit Lucky, Frederic co-founded the company with Jordan Maynard and raised two rounds of funding ($2.6M in seed round and $5M in Series A). They built high-quality transplatform multiplayer games including Lucky Train (FB), Lucky Space (FB) & Solstice Arena (iOS, STEAM).

INVESTORS in A Bit Lucky included Nexon, Accel Partners, Will Wright, SV Angel (Ron Conway), Rembrandt Venture Partners, Blumberg Capital, The Founder Collective (Eric Paley, Chris Dixon), Felicis Ventures (Aydin Senkut), Charles and Kai Huang (Co-Founders of Red Octane), Mark Jung (Co-Founder and CEO of IGN), David Lawee (Head of M&A at Google), Lerer Ventures, Joshua Schachter (Founder of Delicious), and XG Ventures.

Frederic Descamps received their MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, their DESS in International Business Law from Université Côte d'Azur, and their MA in Business, Economics, Law from EDHEC Business School. Frederic also attended Lycee Stanislas and Lycee St Jude.
