Principal Engineer at Manticore Games

Tony Rasa has a long and varied work experience. From 1997 to 2004, they worked as a Consultant for MeanCat Technology, where they learned how to handle many different aspects of business including the technology, keeping the servers running, accounting, customer service, and everything else. In 2004, they became the Development Manager at Blackfin, where they worked with project teams, steering architectures, training, writing libraries, and writing code for clients. From 2010 to 2012, they were a Senior Server Engineer at The Amazing Society, where they worked in a team of highly skilled professionals to build the back end implementation of an MMO. From 2012 to 2016, they were a Principal Software Engineer at Glu Mobile, where they built an entirely new development/production structure for the studio to support multiple game projects based on AWS. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Principal Software Architect at Wargaming Seattle, where they worked on architecture and construction of the Next Generation Platform for Wargaming and partner games. Since 2020, they have been the Principal Engineer at Manticore Games Inc., where they are creating the multiverse and building scalable web services using C#, with Azure and Google Cloud. Tony has also implemented 3rd party login support for a variety of partners.

Tony Rasa received their BS in Computer Science from Boise State University between 2000 and 2003. Prior to that, they attended Texas Tech University from 1993 to 1996, studying Music Performance. In May 2017, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance.
