Jeff Afflerbach

Jeff Afflerbach has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology and Security field. Jeff started as an IAVM/Data Security Classified Spillage Specialist/CERT at MCNOSC in 2001 and then moved to the United States Marine Corps where they worked as an IT Training Chief, Assistant PM from 2004 to 2006. After that, they joined DSD Labs in 2006 as a Security Specialist. In 2007, they became the President & CEO of Avallo Group Inc. and led the company until 2015. During their tenure, they also served as an IA Lead and developed and implemented security policies, systems, and integration processes for various systems, including CNSSI 1253 policy. Jeff then joined Mantis Security Corporation in 2015 as its President & CEO and is still serving in the role.

Jeff Afflerbach holds a degree from Excelsior University and has studied Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Jeff also has a background in Arabic Language and Literature from Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. In addition to their formal education, Jeff has obtained several certifications including the Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessor Professional from Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University, CISM from ISACA, CISA from ISACA, and CISSP from (ISC)².
