Esta Chiang

Esta Chiang has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, Chiang co-founded Food Ninja, an online food delivery company. They were recognized as the best Wellington student startup in 2015. Chiang then joined Girave Studio in 2016 as a co-founder. In this role, Chiang contributed to the company's operations and growth until 2018.

In 2014, Chiang also started working at 8i, a volumetric video technology company. Chiang first served as a Unity Software Developer, working on projects for clients such as Justin Timberlake, Time Inc, and Walmart. Later, Chiang became the Volumetric Pipeline Technical Director and Volumetric Video Producer. They contributed to various AR experiences, including LG U+ AR, AVEX V6, and WWE. Chiang also represented 8i as an invited speaker at the VR Industry Forum.

In 2019, Chiang joined Mantis Vision as the Volumetric Pipeline Technical Director. They were responsible for managing global relationships with Mantis Vision branches in China, Israel, and the US. Chiang also handled business development and partnerships with ad agencies, AR/VR studios, and production companies. They oversaw the Mantis Volumetric Stages worldwide, including locations in Los Angeles, New York, Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Nanjing, Tel Aviv, Arizona, and Finland. Additionally, Chiang worked on DOCOMO's "docomo XR Studio" 3iosk volumetric stage in Japan.

Most recently, in 2021, Chiang joined Future x Nature as a Curator. They contribute to creating immersive and interactive products that provide meaningful experiences for visitors.

Esta Chiang attended The University of Auckland from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics. Following this, they enrolled at Victoria University of Wellington in 2013 and completed their studies there in 2014. Although their field of study at Victoria University is not specified, it consisted of Computer Science and Media Design.
