Joel Tashjian

Joel Tashjian has a significant amount of work experience, starting in 2001 as the Political Director and Senior Policy Advisor for United States Congress - Brad Sherman. Joel then worked as an Associate for the Roderick & Solange MacArthur Justice Center in 2004. In 2006, Joel joined Urban Culture Project as the Director and Company Secretary while also working as a Senior Associate at Allen & Overy.

In 2013, Joel became the Principal Consultant for the Committee on Appropriations, California State Assembly. This was followed by a role at Float Finance as the General Counsel and Head of Finance & Operations from 2015-2017. Joel then worked as the General Counsel for Acorns from 2017-2019.

From 2019-2022, Joel held the role of US Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at Monzo Bank, where they were responsible for various aspects of the bank's operations in the US. Currently, Joel is employed as the General Counsel at MANTL, starting in 2022.
