Amar Varma

Amar Varma serves as the Co-Founder and CEO of Mantle since April 2022, and has been a volunteer for The Hospital for Sick Children since October 2018 as a member of the Sick Kids Campaign Cabinet. As an angel investor since November 2013, Amar has made numerous personal investments, including notable companies such as Uber, SimSim, and Epic Games. Previous roles include Co-Creator of the Ford X accelerator at Ford Motor Company from February 2019 to November 2021, Co-Founder and COO of Autonomic Inc. from October 2016 to January 2019, and leading mobile initiatives at Pivotal, Inc. after the acquisition of Xtreme Labs, which Amar co-founded in 2007 and grew significantly. Amar also co-founded Extreme Venture Partners, which focused on early-stage venture capital investments, and served as Director at VenGrowth, a private equity firm. Amar holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
