Mostafizur Rahman

Mostafizur Rahman is an accomplished AI and Data Science expert currently serving as the Chief Technologist for Artificial Intelligence at the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) since December 2014, where responsibilities include leading AI and Data Science strategy and overseeing technical governance. With a robust background in technology management, Mostafizur has held various roles at MTC, including Technology Manager and Principal Engineer, contributing significantly to data analytics and Industry 4.0 research projects. Previously, Mostafizur was a PhD researcher at the University of Hull, focused on machine learning and data science applications in medicine. Academic leadership experience includes serving as Head of Computer Science & Engineering at both Eastern University and Leading University. Mostafizur holds a PhD in AI & Machine Learning from the University of Hull, an MSc in Applied Artificial Intelligence from Dalarna University, and a BS in Computer Science from the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology.
