Dr. Ethan Karp

Dr. Ethan Karp has worked in various roles and companies. Dr. Ethan started working as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in March 2011 and continued until December 2013. After that, they served as the President and CEO of MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network from January 2014 until the present date. In their role at MAGNET, they led fundraising and construction of a $20 million Manufacturing Innovation, Technology & Jobs Center, and helped numerous manufacturers generate over $1 billion in sales, realize more than $400 million in cost savings, and create or retain 11,000 jobs in Northeast Ohio.

Dr. Ethan Karp completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physics & Biochemistry, with a minor in Mathematics, from Miami University in 2006. Dr. Ethan then pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from Harvard University, from 2006 to 2008. Dr. Karp further advanced their education at Harvard University, earning a Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from 2008 to 2010.
