Mike O'Donnell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mike began their career at AlliedSignal, where they worked in various roles from 1982 to 1996, including Research and Development in Chemical Intermediates and Process Development in Tire and Industrial Fibers. Mike then joined Rubbermaid Home Products as the Division Operations Improvement Manager for Seasonal Products in 1996. In 1997, O'Donnell became the Plant Manager at Wells Lamont Industrial. Mike later joined MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network in 2000, initially as a Senior Growth & Innovation Advisor and eventually rising to the position of Vice President Operations. In their role at MAGNET, O'Donnell focuses on promoting manufacturing and innovation in Northeast Ohio through consulting, partnerships, and workforce development.
Mike O'Donnell has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business from the University of Richmond, which they obtained from 1982 to 1985. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Michigan from 1980 to 1982. Mike also studied Engineering at Oakland University from 1978 to 1980. In terms of additional certifications, Mike obtained a Professional Engineer License in 1988. Other certifications they hold include Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership from LinkedIn in October 2020, QS/ISO Lead Auditor from ANSI-RAB in 1999, and 6 Sigma Master Black Belt with Advanced Statistics (FMEA, DOE) from AlliedSignal in 1995.
