Richard Dewolfe

Richard DeWolfe is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various sectors. Currently serving as the President of Johns Island Club since March 2023, Richard also holds the position of Managing Partner at DeWolfe & Company, a family investment office, and real estate property management and consulting firm established in 2002. As Chairman of the Board at Manulife Financial / John Hancock Financial since 2004, Richard oversees operations for one of North America's largest insurers. Richard's long-standing commitment to education is reflected in the role of Trustee Emeritus at Boston University, where involvement spans over 15 years. Previously, Richard was the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of DeWolfe Companies, which became New England's largest publicly held homeownership company. Richard holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and Finance from Boston University, obtained between 1968 and 1971.
