Gilbert Malinao

Gilbert Malinao is an experienced professional in the field of training and development within the financial services industry. Currently serving as the Advisor Development Head for South Luzon at Manulife Philippines since January 2024, Gilbert previously held the position of Training Officer in the Trust & Investments Group at BDO Unibank from May 2022 to December 2023. Prior to this, Gilbert was the Agency Training Operations Lead and Agency Recruitment Manager at FWD Insurance from July 2018 to April 2022. Gilbert's career in training commenced at AXA as a Training Officer from April 2017 to July 2018 and included roles as Training Specialist and Regional Sales Staff at Insular Life Assurance Co., Ltd. from June 2010 to March 2017. Gilbert holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, graduating in 2010.
