John Izard has extensive experience in both the financial services and engineering sectors. Currently retired from Manulife Securities Inc., where John served as a Financial Advisor and Life Insurance Advisor since 2012, the focus has been on guiding clients towards sustainable financial choices and retirement security. Prior to this role, John gained foundational experience at Edward Jones and held pivotal engineering positions at Dana Corporation and Long Manufacturing Ltd., where John led product engineering initiatives during significant company growth. Earlier in the career, John was involved in R&D programs at Rio Tinto Alcan, specializing in aluminum smelter design. John holds a Master of Applied Science in Metallurgical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
