Alya Sharov

Alya Sharov, CPA, CA, has extensive experience in operational risk management and internal audit, currently serving as the Director of Operational Risk Management at Manulife since August 2014. Prior to this role, Alya was a Senior Manager in Internal Audit at Manulife and held the position of Assistant Manager in Assurance & Advisory at Deloitte from September 2009 to August 2014. Additional experience includes serving as a General Accountant at Forum Canada Research Inc. from February 2006 to August 2009 and working as a Call Center Supervisor at Access Research Inc. from January 2005 to February 2006. Alya obtained a BAS Spec. Honours degree in Accounting from York University, completing studies in 2009.
