Benoit Meslet

Benoit Meslet served as Chief Executive Officer of Manulife from 2020 to 2025. Prior to Manulife, they were Chief Executive Officer of BNP Paribas Cardif from 2017 to 2020, where they generated 3-year sales growth of over 200% through a strategy focused on retirement planning and protection insurance, and established new distribution partnerships with three banks and an independent broker channel with 25,000+ agents, while launching Cardif Lab. Earlier in their career at ING, they served as Chief Transformation & Strategy Officer and held roles including Head of Mortgages and Head of Individual Protection & Health, leading initiatives such as the separation of ING Life Japan from ING Group and the rollout of digital and analytics programs. They hold a BSc & MSc in Materials Engineering from INSA Lyon, an MA in International Management from Yonsei University, and completed Executive Education at Harvard Business School.
