Jag Obhan

Jag Obhan, CPA, CA, MBA, serves as Managing Director and Head of Third Party Finance at Manulife Financial, focusing on establishing a finance platform to support growth in private asset management. Previously, Jag was Chief Accountant for Manulife's Investment Division, overseeing accounting advisory and global operational risk management. In addition, Jag has held the position of AVP, External Finance Group Head at Manulife Bank of Canada, managing external financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Prior experience includes being a managing partner at Obhan and Hassen Accounting Firm and working in various roles at RBC, including accounting policy and risk management. Educational background includes an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and Schulich School of Business, and a Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
