Jingjia Cheng

Jingjia Cheng is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Head of Asia GA COO at Manulife since June 2013. In previous roles at Manulife, Cheng held positions including AVP Business Solutions and Director of Portfolio Analytics, contributing analytical and modeling expertise to North American Portfolio Management and leading the Analytics System Consolidation project. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Analyst in Global Asset Liability Management and as a Financial Analyst at Guosen Securities Co. Ltd., where noteworthy achievements included developing a Dynamic Multi-Factor Portfolio Construction Strategy and smart beta equity index. Cheng began a career at Taikang Asset Management as an Assistant Financial Analyst, focusing on efficient frontier modeling and corporate bond market analysis. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and dual Master’s and Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics from Nankai University.
