Matt Lawrence

Matt Lawrence is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the insurance and investment management sectors. Currently serving as Regional Controller for Asia at Manulife since July 2019, Matt previously held prominent roles including Finance Director at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore and Director of Accounting Policy and Control at Prudential Corporation Asia. Early in their career, Matt was a Partner at KPMG Hong Kong and held several senior managerial positions within KPMG across the UK and Hong Kong, providing audit, advisory, and transaction services. Matt holds a B.Sc. in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, having completed studies there from 1995 to 1998, and attended Epsom College from 1990 to 1995.
