Nicole Shaughnessy

Nicole Shaughnessy is an accomplished professional in the events and communications sector, currently serving as the Director of Meetings & Events at Manulife since June 2019, where responsibilities include leading event and program strategies and advisor communications. Prior to this role, Nicole held various positions at Manulife since 2010, managing sponsorships, brand activation, and communication deliverables across multiple business units. Experience also includes a tenure as Global Event Marketing Project Manager at Communitech, specializing in the True North Conference and Festival. Nicole's career began in communications roles at Manulife Financial and the Ontario Ministry of Education, complemented by freelance consulting through Shaughnessy Consulting.
