Rafe Hunt

Rafe Hunt, FSA, currently serves as AVP and Portfolio Manager at Manulife, focusing on the Canadian General Account since February 2011. Hunt has held several key positions within the company, including AVP for Global ALM - Product Support and Investment Strategy, and Director and Actuary roles in various domains such as US Finance, Inforce Management, and Liability Modelling. With extensive experience in reinsurance projects, annual dividend recommendations, and actuarial analysis using GGY AXIS software, Hunt demonstrates strong expertise in insurance product modeling. Prior to Manulife, Rafe gained experience as an actuarial intern at New York Life Insurance Company and Sun Life Financial. Rafe earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Actuarial Math from the University of Manitoba.
