As Vice President and Chief Architect at Manulife, Shawn oversees Global Wealth and Asset Management Architecture, managing a portfolio of 700 applications across multiple regions. Additional roles include an Artificial Intelligence Researcher at AI4Finance and Advisory Board Member at the University of Colorado Denver, where Shawn also teaches advanced courses in Web API Technologies and Generative AI. Shawn's extensive experience encompasses leadership positions at prominent companies like Charles Schwab, Vantiv, and First Data Corporation, with a strong focus on architecture, engineering governance, and innovative technology solutions.
