Gary Tan

VP - Head Of Global Food Ingredients Application at Manus Bio

Gary Tan has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Gary began their career as a Medical Admin Support for Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in 2008. In 2012, they moved to Nissin Foods (Asia) Pte Ltd - Regional Headquater of Asia as a Food Technologist. In 2015, they joined YHS (Singapore) Pte Ltd as a Senior Food Technologist. In 2016, they were a Senior Sales and Application Specialist at Compass Foods. Gary then worked as an Application Scientist at Tereos from 2018 to 2022. Gary is currently employed as a Regional Technical Manager (APAC) at both Manus Bio and WIN Ingredients Singapore.

Gary Tan completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Food Science and Technology from Curtin University between 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Chemical Process degree in Food Science and Technology from Singapore Polytechnic between 2004 and 2007.
