Wei Nan

Wei Nan is currently the Director of Downstream Processing at Manus, having begun this role in 2025. Wei previously served as the Associate Director of Downstream Process Development at Inscripta, Inc. from 2023 to 2025, and held several positions in process engineering at companies such as Genomatica, Renewable Energy Group, Inc., and Purissima, Inc. Wei completed a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering and Chemical Engineering at Stony Brook University between 2009 and 2015 and is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Beijing University of Technology. Prior experience also includes a postdoctoral researcher role at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology from 2015 to 2018 and an internship at MOMENTIVE PERFORMANCE MATERIALS.
