Urooj Khan

Urooj Khan is a Professor at the Texas McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin since January 2021. Additionally, Urooj serves as a Member of the Small Business Advisory Committee for the Financial Accounting Standards Board from January 2024, contributing to the representation of smaller public companies. Urooj has held advisory roles at Manymoons and previously was an Associate Professor at Columbia Business School and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for cmorq, focused on Organized Blockchain Data. Urooj's academic journey began with an Assistant Professor position at Columbia University and includes a part-time researcher role at the Office of Financial Research within the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Urooj's educational background includes a PhD and MS in Business from the UW Foster School of Business, an MS in Accounting from Syracuse University, and a B.Com (Hons) in Business from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
