Álvaro Faílde

Álvaro Faílde is an experienced Application Security Engineer currently with the MAPAL Group since June 2023. Previously, Álvaro held positions at Accenture, beginning as a Security Consulting Analyst, where responsibilities included secure development for an international bank and implementing S-SDLC processes, and later advancing to Security Consulting Consultant, leading AppSec teams for international clients in the Financial Services and Telecommunications industries. Álvaro's professional background also includes content generation for EC-Council’s Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE Java) certification exams and ensuring database integrity at Grupo Oesía, among other roles. Álvaro holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade da Coruña and a Master's in Cybersecurity from UNIR-Universidad Internacional de La Rioja.
