Elizabeth Sommerfield

Elizabeth Sommerfield is a seasoned software architect and solutions expert with extensive experience in software development and product management. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at Mapbox since June 2021, Elizabeth previously held the position of Director, Member Product at Inspire, where contributions included the evolution of JavaScript-driven front-end applications and a combination of roles in engineering management and product development. With a strong foundation as a Software Architect at The Washington Post, Elizabeth crafted user interfaces for subscribers, and earlier roles at Revolution and AOL involved leading UI development and creating efficient web solutions. Elizabeth holds a Master of Information Technology in Software Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Yale University.
