Ivo van Dongen

Ivo van Dongen is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Lead 3D/Engineering Manager at Mapbox since June 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing 3D rendering and data efforts while managing a team of specialists. Prior to this role, Ivo held engineering positions focused on rendering engine development for embedded systems, mobile platforms, and automotive integrations. With a background as a Freelance Software Architect and EdTech Specialist, Ivo also founded StudyGrasp and worked at Human.co, Inc. and JTeam. Ivo's educational credentials include an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Amsterdam and a Nanodegree in Self-Driving Car Engineering from Udacity, complemented by a BSc in Computer Science from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
