Michael Dussert

Michael Dussert's work experience includes various roles in engineering management and software quality assurance. Michael is currently serving as the Director of Platform Engineering at Mapbox, where they oversee the development of products and services, focusing on data infrastructure and developer productivity. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Tableau Software, leading the Content Management team and launching microservices. Michael also held positions at Amazon, where they served as an Engineering Manager for the Alexa Mobile app, and at Motorola Solutions, where they managed Quality Engineering and Mobile Development teams. Additionally, they have experience in Information Technology management at Mav6, Whole Energy Fuels, and Nordstrom. Michael started their career as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Adobe.

Michael Dussert attended Western Washington University from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography. Michael graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors.
