Pat Brown

Pat Brown is an experienced engineering manager currently leading the Navigation team at Mapbox since March 2021. As the owner of XDIS LLC since October 2011, Pat specializes in designing and managing websites for small businesses while advising on improvements in design and functionality. Previously, Pat held various managerial positions in infrastructure engineering at MyFitnessPal and Under Armour, where responsibilities included building new infrastructure platforms and managing feature development teams. Early career experiences include roles at the Defense Information Systems Agency and the University of Maryland, alongside teaching martial arts from 2004 to 2008. Pat holds a BS in Information Systems from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business.
