Vanessa Conter

Vanessa Conter is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in chief financial roles across various industries. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Mapei since March 2024, Vanessa previously held the position of Group Chief Financial Officer at Amplitude Laser from February 2020 to March 2024 and was the Group CFO and Executive Board Member at CLS Groupe from September 2014 to December 2019. Prior to these roles, Vanessa spent over seven years at AstraZeneca in various financial leadership positions, including Finance Director for Customer Lead Commercial & GPPS and Deputy CFO for Russia, where major transformative projects were successfully led. Earlier in the career, Vanessa contributed to Hewlett-Packard (HP) from August 1999 to June 2007 in various capacities including Project Manager and EMEA Treasury Consultant. Vanessa holds an MBA in finance from Texas McCombs School of Business and a degree in Finance from emlyon business school.
