Andrea Edginton is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of pharmacy, currently serving as the Hallman Director and Professor at the School of Pharmacy, University of Waterloo. With a focus on physiologically-based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling and its applications in pediatrics and population PK, Andrea also leads initiatives through the Web-Accessible Pharmacokinetics Service for hemophilia. In addition to roles at the University of Waterloo, Andrea serves as President & COO of MAPflow and Vice President at Design2Code Inc., specializing in scientific software development and PBPK consulting. Recognition includes the 2024 WXN Top 100 Women in Canada Award for Executive Leader and participation in the AACP Academic Leadership Fellows Program. Prior experience includes visiting professorship at the University of Montreal and a post-doctoral fellowship at Bayer Technology Services, alongside obtaining a PhD in Environmental Toxicology from the University of Guelph.
