Sam Rack

Sam Rack is a software developer who currently works for Mapistry. Sam has previously worked for the Cincinnati Reds and Epic. Sam Rack began their career as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Notre Dame. Sam then interned at Epic before being hired on full-time. At Epic, Sam Rack worked through the full software life cycle on both enhancement projects and fixes, developing database server (M / Cache), web server (C#), and client code (JS, TS, HTML, CSS, VB6). Sam also designed and implemented a prototype for a social network where family members can connect and share medical history information. In January 2019, Sam Rack began working for the Cincinnati Reds as a senior baseball software developer. In this role, they continued their responsibilities from their previous role with Epic but with increased latitude and responsibility. Sam Rack currently works as a software developer for Mapistry.

Sam Rack completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Notre Dame, where they majored in computer science.

Their manager is Carlos Conde, VP, Engineering. They work with Justin Graber - Senior Software Engineer, Darshin Van Parijs - Software Engineer.
