Deven Lokagariwar

Deven Lokagariwar has a extensive work experience in the machinery industry. Deven started their career in 1995 at kloeckner Desma Machinery, where they held the role of Sr Manager: Business Development for 13 years. During this time, they successfully grew the business in Asia and achieved a significant market share in India and Southeast Asia. Deven also played a key role in recruiting and mentoring talented teams.

In 2008, Deven assumed the role of General Manager at kloeckner desma elastomertechnik GmbH, where they oversaw the operations of DESMA in China. Deven was responsible for managing various functions such as production, purchase, quality, sales, finance, and HR.

In 2011, Deven joined kloeckner Desma Machinery as General Manager and was entrusted with the entire sales network in India and export markets. Deven also oversaw the Application Department and provided support for the mould department.

In 2016, Deven joined Maplan GmbH as the Business Head (Strategic Markets). Deven was responsible for developing new markets in South America, Asia, and the Middle East. Deven also played a crucial role in developing solutions for target markets.

In 2017, Deven took on the role of General Manager at Maplan Changzhou rubber machinery co ltd, where they established a manufacturing plant in China and developed machines suitable for the Chinese market.

Deven's most recent role was as the President at MAchinery + Planning Inc (MAPLAN) starting from 2018. Deven relocated to Chicago, USA to lead the Maplan USA operations. Under their leadership, they significantly increased sales of spare parts and services, introduced new revenue streams, and expanded the customer base through projects such as customer training, PM contracts, control upgrades, and spare part packages.

Deven Lokagariwar completed their higher secondary education at Vimalabai Garware, specializing in the field of science from 1978 to 1988. Deven then pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Polymer Technology and Polymer Processing from Maharashtra Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, in the same time period of 1990 to 1994, they also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology/Technician from Maharashtra Institute of Technology. Later, in 1999 to 2000, Deven Lokagariwar pursued their Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing and International Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune.
