John Herde

John Herde is currently the CEO of Trent Restaurants Limited. He joined Trent in 2018, bringing 20 years of food industry leadership, retail expertise and executive management experience in his role with the company.

In addition to his retail industry experience, John has held positions in retail and food distribution sectors. His areas of expertise are sales, marketing, logistics, retail and manufacturing operations.

John currently holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Ryerson University (Toronto, Canada).

John’s wife, Jody, operates her own personal care business and spends the balance of her time raising three children who all attend Maple Leaf International School.
