Kit MacPherson began a career in real estate in 1980 after earning a BA in Biology from the University of Puget Sound. They worked as the Manager of the Relocation Division at MacPherson Inc. Realtors for a decade before serving as Vice-President at MDM Management Inc. from 1990 to 2010. In 2010, they became the Owner and Designated Broker of Maple Leaf Property Management, specializing in customized property management services. Currently, Kit serves as Chairperson of the Board at Home Together and has transitioned their focus towards creating affordable housing for families impacted by pediatric illnesses through the Maple Leaf Foundation.
