Christine Bowles, LPC, is an experienced mental health professional with a focus on trauma-informed care and family support services. Currently serving as the Director of Family Time Programs & Northern Colorado Operations at Maple Star Colorado since March 2020, Christine oversees the development and implementation of supervised and therapeutic Family Time services as well as aftercare and stabilization programs. Previous roles include Director of Clinical Operations at Extended Hands of Hope, where Christine oversaw trauma-informed mental health services for survivors of sex trafficking, and various roles at Community Reach Center, providing crisis intervention and mental health support. Educational background includes a Master’s of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Truman State University.

Our trauma specific approach provides individualized and holistic services that promote wellness, durability, and healing through the context of relationship. Our program staff as well as all of our foster families are skilled and trained utilizing trauma informed care approaches when working with at-risk populations. Staff and Foster Families primarily provide the high quality, trauma informed face to face client services for which Maple Star is known.
